Most will improve on their own with rest, fluids, and over-the-counter remedies.

🩺 Feeling Rough With a Cough or Cold?
Common colds and similar viral illnesses typically last 1–2 weeks, and rest, fluids, and self-care are usually all you need.
Antibiotics won’t help, as colds are caused by viruses.
📈 We’ve seen a 20–25% increase in appointment requests since October, so please think Pharmacy First before contacting the GP surgery. Your local pharmacist can offer advice and treatment for many common illnesses.
